Dow Jones hired us to redesign the Far Eastern Economic Review and design its first two issues. It was decided that we would turn the 4 color weekly magazine into a monthly 'journal' style magazine (uncoated paper, black and white interior, perfect bound). The project was very well received and successful in its goals.

The newly developed family of typefaces called Mercury, by the Hoefler and Frere-Jones type foundry, was used here.
